On Saturday 31/8 at the Acropolis of Asini there will be a “conversation” of two poets and two poems: George Seferis (“The King of Asini“) and Nikos Karouzos (“In Asini the orange groves“). The poet and scholar of Giorgos Seferis’ work, Dimitris Daskalopoulos, will speak about this “meeting”. The poems are read by Olia Lazaridou and Cora Karvouni. A concert with Christina Maksouri and Konstantinos Evagelidis will follow. A poetic musical narrative guided by the work set to music based on the words of great poets, such as Odysseus Elytis, Miltos Shaktouris, Napoleon Lapathiotis, Nikos Kavvadias, etc.
